Budapest – City Break: Summary

To love

Fall in love in a city and with a city. For both try a romantic dinner river cruise.

To live

Live like a local and go with AirBnB so you can stay in your own apartment and shop in the local supermarket or Central Market Hall.

To travel

Use local transport or for something unusual try the funicular or chairlift to get a better view of the river.

To eat

Where possible sample local cuisine including lángos, goulash or steamed and stuffed cabbage.

To sleep

Try AirBnB for your own apartment where you’ll get a sound night’s sleep for less than the cost of a hotel.

To see

See the riverfront at night from one of the many bridges that spans the Danube river.

To do

Climb the stairs to the top of St. Stephen’s Basilica where you will be rewarded with a view of the city.

To walk

Walk along the riverfront to see the shoes on the Danube.

To work

Stop for a coffee at the Californian Coffee Company and make use of their free wifi – these can be found across the city.
